The Brotherhood of Cernunnos
Learning
Our Brotherhood honours a path of growth through 13 degrees of learning, each designed to promote personal achievement and our shared journey to celebrate learning, self-discovery, and spiritual progression. Through guided study, hands-on experience, and personal mentorship, brothers gain knowledge of the craft, connect with ancient wisdom, and deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Brotherhood
The Brotherhood of Cernunnos is built on trust, support, and shared purpose. Together, we create a safe and welcoming space for gay male witches to explore spirituality, forge meaningful connections, and deepen their bond with nature and each other. Whether through rituals, gatherings, or personal mentoring, our commitment to brotherhood strengthens us individually and collectively.
Community
Within our Brotherhood, we foster a strong sense of community where each member feels valued and connected. Through shared experiences, open dialogue, and mutual support, we cultivate a close-knit environment that nurtures individual growth and collective harmony. Our community is a source of strength and encouragement, inspiring each brother to thrive and contribute to the whole.
Over 10+ Years of Fraternity
The Brotherhood has been an active coven for over a decade.
We meet once a month for learning and progression, as well as for the eight festivals of the Wheel of the Year, and social events.

Let Our Experience Be Your Guide
We are a pagan brotherhood for gay men based in Manchester, UK. We promote a strong sense of value in brotherhood, learning, leadership and love. We worship the masculine in all its forms, and this is embodied in our patron deity, the Celtic horned god, Cernunnos.
Cernunnos has long been worshipped by gay men as the embodiment of the masculine spirit. Protective, caring, kind and loyal, while at the same time adventurous, courageous and strong – both in physique and strength of character.
To worship the male form is to cultivate these attributes in yourself, encourage them in each other, and recognise that the male body itself embodies them. It deserves the same discipline, care, and continuous improvement.
The Brotherhood of Cernunnos is a pagan path aligned with the masculine aspect of the divine, and we teach and guide our members in a path of learning, brotherhood, adventure and love.
You do not have to be an Adonis to apply to join the brotherhood, but you do need to respect the gift of life (and the body) that the gods have given you, and take care of it.
It is important to note that not all gay pagan men have this viewpoint. A lot of gay pagan men follow the traditional path in every sense, and that’s great. At the Brotherhood of Cernunnos, we see things a little differently.
We look at what it truly means to follow a pagan path aligned with the masculine aspect of the divine.
